The tomb itselfe, is a place of pilgrimage for the thousands of belivers, paying their respects to this contemporary saint. People from every part of the country and from abroad as well, are coming at his place of rest. Saint Paisios passed away on 12 july 1994 and was burried by the church of Saint Arsenio.
